P809 Fail-safe Time
In the event of a fail-safe condition the failsafe timer determines the time
before fail-safe mode is activated.
Default = 2min
If the timer activates, the unit goes into fail-safe as determined by P808
( Display ) and P840 ( Output ). When this happens, you will see the message
“
Failed Safe
!” on the display, along with a message explaining why (lost
comm. or comm. error, for example)
When a valid measurement is obtained then the display and output will be
restored and the timer is reset.

Option Description
0 = Units (Default) Display the units of the main display
1 = Flow Display flow reading
2 = Velocity Display velocity reading
3 = Totaliser Display resettable totaliser
mA Output Parameters
Range
P830 Output Range
This parameter determines the range of the mA output, from the following.
Option Description
0= Off output disabled.
1= 0 to 20 mA
output directly proportional to the output mode
( P831 ), so if the reading is 0% the output is 0 mA. If
the reading is 100% the output is 20 mA.
2= 4 to 20 mA
(Default) output directly proportional to the output mode
( P831 ), so if the reading is 0% the output is 4 mA. If
the reading is 100% the output is 20 mA.
3= 20 to 0 mA
output inversely proportional to the output mode
( P831 ), so if the reading is 0% the output is 20 mA. If
the reading is 100% the output is 0 mA.
4= 20 to 4 mA
output inversely proportional to the output mode
( P831 ), so if the reading is 0% the output is 20 mA. If
the reading is 100% the output is 4 mA.
