HOST PROGRAMMING

INTRODUCTION

In addition to having the capability of being programmed by a terminal
connected to the Local Port, the

Series 9000E Bar Code

Scanner/Decoder

can be programmed by commands from the host

computer. Since the host may be used for both data collection and
system configuration, a simple programming language is offered to allow
system tailoring or alteration based on the flow of barcode data from the
scanning system. All system parameters can be set or altered using the
host download commands.
