5.18

Loosen all nuts (2) – figure (5.11), of handbrake cable clamps on the brake

mechanism side.

Tighten cable and tighten clamps.

ATTENTION

Parking  brake  cable  clamps  must  be  installed  as  shown  in  figure  (5.11),  i.e.
clamp  bracket  (1)  must  be  installed  on  the  side  of  the  shorter  brake  cable
section.  Tighten  nuts  using  tightening  torque  given  in  table  TIGHTENING
TORQUE FOR NUT AND BOLT CONNECTIONS

Length of parking brake cable should be so selected that at total release of working and
