supplied  with  oil  from  the  tractor's  hydraulic  system.  Hydraulic  oil  manifold  of  the  tractor's 

external hydraulic system is used to control the tailgate rising.

The parking brake is used to immobilise and prevent the trailer from moving  while standing 

motionless. The trailer is equipped with parking brake with crank mechanism – figure (3.15). 

To  immobilise  the  trailer  turn  the  mechanism  crank  (1)  clockwise  fully  home. When  turning 

the lever, steel cable (3) connected with axle expander levers (2) is tightened. Tightening the 

cable causes tilting of the expander levers, which expand the brake shoes immobilising the 

trailer.
