Configure Storage Settings

Now create a single storage volume.

1. Return to the Main Menu, and choose

Storage Settings

2. Choose

Create Storage Volume

3. Choose

Single partition volume

then enter a name for the new volume.

4. Select the partition for the new volume from the list presented. Choose the logical drive you created

previously on the Vess R2000 subsytem. In the text menu interface, it appears as a hexadecimal

character string, followed by

: Linux d

Also notice the size of the partition is the same as the logical drive on the Vess R2000.

5. You are asked if you want to create a journal on the volume. Choose

Yes

6. The new volume now appears listed in the menu.
