Beef Stroganoff

pounds top round steak,
cut into strips
Salt and pepper to taste

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed
cream of mushroom soup
1 (4 ounce) can canned mushrooms

Place the beef in the bottom of a slow cooker, and season with salt and pepper.
Place onion on top of beef, and then add mushroom soup, mushrooms, and
water. Season with chives, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and bouillon. In a small
bowl, mix together the wine with the flour. Pour over the beef. Cover, and cook on
Low for 6 to 7 hours. Stir in the sour cream and parsley, and continue cooking for
1 hour. Serve over pasta or rice.
Makes 4 servings.
Pepper Steak
1 pounds beef sirloin, cut into strips
Garlic powder to taste
1 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cube beef bouillon

cup hot water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 small onion, quartered
Sprinkle strips of sirloin with garlic powder. In a large skillet over medium high
heat, heat the vegetable oil and brown the seasoned beef strips. Transfer to a
slow cooker.Mix bouillon cube with hot water until dissolved, then mix in corn-
starch until dissolved. Pour into the slow cooker with meat. Stir in onion, green
peppers, stewed tomatoes, soy sauce, and sugar. Cover, and cook on High for 3
to 4 hours or on Low for 6 to 8 hours. Serve with rice.

Taco Soup

pound ground beef
1 tablespoon dry minced onion or
1 small onion, chopped
1 (16 ounce) can chili beans, with liquid

In a medium skillet, over medium high heat, brown the ground beef. Drain, and set
aside.Place the ground beef, onion, chili beans, water, diced tomatoes, green chile
peppers and taco seasoning mix in a slow cooker. Mix to blend, cover, and cook
on High for 2 to3 hours or Low for 4 to 5 hours.
Makes 4 servings.
