Operational Sequences
4.
Ejects the unfixed portion of the remaining paper.
Activates the tractor motor, and transports the perforation that was at the
transfer point to the cutter position. At this time, the flash lamp is turned
on and off with the tractor motor activation and deactivation, to fix the
unfixed portion.
5.
Completes the jam detection task.
6.
Turns off the vacuum fan and the preheat lamp.
7.
Turns on the cutter solenoid.
This pulls the paper taut ahead of and behind the cutter position, using
the scuff roller and paper presser.
8.
Activates the cutter motor.
Sends the cutter over and back one time along the paper perforation.
9.
Turns off the paper solenoid.
This ejects the cut and printed paper.
10. Reverses the tractor motor.
Reverses the tractor motor, to return the leading edge of the unprinted
paper left in the transfer unit to the transfer point.
11. Terminates the main unit feed motor.
12. Transfers to online idling state.
NOTE:
Commands to request this operation cannot be received unless the
paper back feed sensor has detected paper.
Park Fanfold Paper
1.
Checks whether or not there is remaining paper.
Activates the tractor motor, monitors the sensor output, and checks
whether or not there is any paper remaining in the transport pathway. If
there is paper remaining, executes steps 2 through 9 of the preceding
topic, “Eject fanfold paper.” Otherwise, proceeds to the next step.
2.
Reverses the tractor motor.
Reverses the tractor motor, and pulls the leading edge of the paper in
front of the paper back feed sensor. At this time, if the paper back feed
sensor detects paper, this is considered to be an error and the task is
terminated, even if the encoder count is below 0.
Also, when the cutting operation for remaining paper is executed, this
stops the main unit feed motor as soon as the leading edge of the paper
is retracted to the front of the paper back feed sensor.
3.
Transfers to online idling state.
NOTE:
Commands to request this operation cannot be received unless the
paper back feed sensor has detected paper.
