Issue
On some units, the bottom bracket may become loose in the frame.
Resolution
Inspect the bike for bracket movement. If movement exists, send a video of the bottom
bracket movement to Precor and RMA the unit.
Procedure
Review entire procedure before starting.
1. Postion the pedals at 6 and 12 o’clock.
2. Rock pedals left to right to determine if there is movement in the bracket bearing.
a. If the bearing shows no movement, verify full unit operation (see
) and return to service.
b. If there is movement in the bearing, continue to the next step (see above video
for an example of bearing movement in the frame).
3. If any movement exists with the bearing in the frame:
a. Remove left crank arm and plastic bearing cover. See
for instructions.
b. Record a video of bearing movement.
c. Send video to Precor Customer Engagement at
d. RMA unit.
