SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

To help prevent severe injury or property damage, please carefully read through each of the following warnings:

RISK OF FREEZING DAMAGE
RISK OF AUTOMATIC FILTER DAMAGE
Freezing conditions may cause the piping, fittings and
sensing components to crack or malfunction, which
may create an explosion resulting in
SEVERE INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.
NOTE: The manufacturer is not responsible for any
damages caused by freezing due to improper
winterizations. Read and follow the winterization
procedures in this manual.
DO NOT allow downstream pressurized water to flow
backwards into the filter unit under any circumstances.
The downstream check valve has been modified at the
factory to allow some water to return into the
collector tank for sensing purposes.
If the downstream mainline needs to be drained,
an external drain plug mounted downstream of
the filter unit must be provided. The system MUST
have at least 35 PSI of pressure for the filter unit
to operate and clean effectively.
The filter flush valve drain MUST be sized correctly.
Run it to a dump pit or downstream in a ditch.
