How long the lead pump operates before the
controller alternates lead/lag designations.
Manually alternates the lead/lag pump
designations.
Enables or disables communication between a
variable frequency drive and the PLC.
The Pony Pump stops when the system flow
rate reaches this value.
Time between Pony Pump Stop Flow detection
and the Pony Pump is stopped.
The Pony Pump starts when the system drops
below the PSI setpoint the flow rate reaches
this value.
Time between Pony Start Flow rate detection
and the Pony Pump is started.
About Alternation Mode
When enabled, the system
automatically alternates Lead/Lag designations based on an
Alternation Timer. This ensures the duty pumps will wear evenly.
About VFD Communication
If a VFD fails, it can be necessary to disable the communication
link between the failed VFD and the PLC. This prevents delays that
occur when the PLC repeatedly tries to communicate with a failed
drive.
About Pony Pump Start/Stop
Settings
Also called a Jockey or Pressure
Maintenance Pump, the Pony pump is used for low demands.
• It’s the first pump to turn on when pressure drops below
the setpoint.
• It’s typically programmed to stop as soon as the flow demand
begins to exceed its capacity.
• When Pony Flow Mode is enabled, the controller will start
and stop the Pony Pump based on the below settings.
