push the

PRESSURES FOR COLD TYRES” on page 240.
f Make sure that the tyre pressures correspond
to the on-board computer settings. Correct the
tyre pressures if necessary.
Tyre pressure warnings
Tyre Pressure Monitoring warns about loss in
pressure in two stages, depending on the amount
of pressure loss:
Stage 1 – Add air
(0.2 to 0.4 bar (3 to 6 psi) loss in pressure)
Stage 2 – Flat tyre
(from 0.4 (6 psi) loss in pressure)
Stage 1 – Add air
The pressure in the tyre is too low by 0.2 to
0.4 bar (3 to 6 psi).
Driving with insufficient tyre pressure reduces the
road safety of the vehicle and destroys the tyre
and wheel.

The tyre pressure warning contains the
affected tyre with the tyre pressure to be
added.
Correct the tyre pressure at the next opportu-
nity.
This tyre pressure warning appears with vehicle
stopped and can be acknowledged.
The tyre pressure warning light in the instrument
panel goes out when the tyre pressure has been
corrected.
Stage 2 – Flat tyre
The pressure in the tyre has dropped by more than
0.4 bar (6 psi). This significant pressure loss is a
danger to road safety.
