11.Carefully unclip both protective covers

12.Fit both plastic covers C into the trim panel.
The marker dot must point to the rear.
These plastic covers are also used with the
hardtop.
13.Close the front locking lever.
Fit the plastic cover of the front hardtop lock.
Fitting the hardtop
Caution!
Risk of damage to the windstop and hardtop.
f Always remove the windstop before fitting the
hardtop.
Please observe the chapter “WINDSTOP” on
page 164.
1. Open all four side windows.
2. Take the unlocking handle
D from the
oddments tray between the front seats.
3. Position the unlocking handle D on the dot
marking.
Carefully lever out both plastic covers C .
4. Fit both protective covers J into the trim panel.
