The figure below shows a step response with a small overshoot which means that
the P term is still too high and has to be decreased.
The result of the step response is satisfactory when there is minimum overshoot,
and the settling time is not too long, as in the figure below. No changes are
required for the servo-control parameters.

Save or discard the new settings in the
Parameter Settings
panel:

If you want to keep the new settings, save them to the nonvolatile memory of the
E-727 by clicking the
Save as Default (EEPROM)
button.

If you want to discard the new settings and reset the parameter values to their
defaults (i.e. to their values from nonvolatile memory), click the
Reset All to
Default
button.
