There are labels missing on the media. Press the pause button repeatedly until
printer recognizes the next label on the
media.
The label size defined in the format sent to
the printer does not match the actual media
size. Cancel print job.
Change label format in the software.
Restart print job.
Continuous media is loaded in the printer,
but the software is expecting labels Cancel print job.
Change label format in the software.

No label size
Label size not defined in programming Check programming.

There is no network connection Check network cable and connector.
Inform the network administrator.
No SMTP server
Printer is configured for SMTP, but there is
no SMTP server present or the SMTP
server is currently unavailable Deactivate SMTP in the configuration.
Caution: Warnings via e-mail (EAlert) can
then no longer be received.
Inform the network administrator.
No Timeserver
Timeserver is selected in the configuration,
but there is no timeserver present or the
timeserver is currently unavailable. Deactivate Timeserver in the configuration.
Inform the network administrator.
Out of paper
Label roll used up Load labels (see page 2-7).
Error in media flow Check media flow.
Out of ribbon
Ink ribbon used up Load new ink ribbon.
Ink ribbon melted through during printing Cancel print job.
Change heat level.
Clean printhead (see page 4-4).
Load ink ribbon (see page 2-6).
Restart print job.
Ink ribbon supply roll is not secured to the
ribbon supply hub Secure ink ribbon reel (see page 2-6).
Protocol error
Printer receives an unknown or incorrect
command from the computer Press the pause button to skip the
command or
press the
cancel button to cancel the print
job.
Unknown Type
Error in the selected download font Cancel print job,
change font.
Voltage error
Hardware error Switch printer off, then on again.

Write error
Hardware error Repeat write process.
Wrong revision
Error when loading a new firmware version.
Firmware does not match the hardware
version. Load corresponding firmware.
