Removing and fitting the
pressure roller
•
Remove the pressure roller (1) from the shaft (2) in the housing.
•
Clean the shaft (2) of the roller (see magnified section).
•
Clean the pressure roller or replace, if necessary (see "Ordering Data" on page A-5).
•
Place the pressure roller (1) on the shaft and gently turn it until the hexagon head
screw of the shaft is secured tightly in the hexagonal socket head of the pressure roller.
•
Mount the side plate (item 3, Figure 4-2), secure with screws (item 4abc, Figure 4-2),
and tighten in the order b–a–c.
•
Mount the plate (item 6, Figure 4-2) and tighten the screws (item. 5, Figure 4-2) with
the hexagonal wrench.
