Maintaining the Printer and Removing Errors

Removing the side plate

•

Disconnect the THERMOMARK X1.1 from the mains.

•

Make sure that the print mechanism has cooled down.

•

Remove the cutter by loosening the knurled screw and pulling the cutter toward you.

•

Open the cover.

•

Turn lever (1) counter clockwise to lift the printhead.

•

Remove labels and ink ribbon from the printer.

•

Loosen the screws (5) on the plate (6) several turns using the hexagonal wrench (2) 
provided and remove the plate (6).

•

Remove the screws (4abc) of the side plate (3) using the hexagonal wrench.

•

Remove the side plate (3).
