Arc Ignitor PCB Replacement (VL500A Only)
Parts:
24.9685.1000 1 EA IGNITOR, ARC (VL500A ONLY)
Tools:
• #2 Phillips Screwdriver
WARNING:
Remove power from luminaire before performing maintenance.
To remove and replace ignitor PCB:
Step 1. Disconnect luminaire AC input cable from power source.
Step 2. Remove yoke cover opposite of display by removing four 6-32x3/8" LG PTB
screws.
Step 3. At Ignitor PCB, disconnect Input and Output lamp wires.
Step 4. As shown in
Figure 32
, remove four 6-32x3/8" PPZ SEMS screws from PCB.

Step 5. Remove Ignitor PCB.
Note:
Make sure and install ignitor with proper orientation. Wires from Relay attached to
posts labeled "From Relay". Wires going to lamp attach to posts labeled "To Bulb".
Step 6. Replace Ignitor PCB by performing Steps 2 through 6 in reverse.
