Pan/Tilt Encoder PCB Replacement
Parts:
24.9685.7735 1 EA BOARD ASSY, PAN/TILT ENCODER
Tools:
• #2 Phillips Screwdriver
WARNING:
Remove power from luminaire before performing maintenance.
To remove and replace pan/tilt encoder PCB:
Step 1. Disconnect luminaire AC input cable from power source.
Step 2. To access pan/tilt encoder PCB:
a. For Tilt Motor Encoder PCB removal, remove display side yoke cover by
removing four 6-32x3/8" LG PTB screws.
b. For Pan Motor Encoder PCB removal, access pan motor assembly see,
“Pan
Motor Assembly Replacement” on page 60
.
Step 3. At encoder PCB, disconnect wiring harness from assembly.
Step 4. As shown in
Figure 31
, remove two 6-32x3/8" PPZ screws and remove assembly.

Step 5. Replace by performing Steps 2 through 4 in reverse order.
Note:
Ensure that encoder disk passes freely through the optical sensor on PCB.
