Pan Motor Assembly Replacement
Parts:
21.9685.0540 1 EA ASSY, PAN/TILT MOTOR
Tools:
• #2 Phillips Screwdriver
WARNING:
Remove power from luminaire before performing maintenance.
To remove and replace pan motor assembly:
Step 1. Disconnect luminaire AC input cable from power source.
Step 2. Remove yoke cover opposite of display by removing four 6-32x3/8" LG PTB
screws.
Step 3. Remove 4 x 6-32 x 3/8" PFB screws (two each side of yoke) that hold Top Cover
Louver Plate and remove plate.
Step 4. Disconnect wiring from motor and encoder PCB.
Step 5. As shown in
Figure 30
, loosen, but do not remove, four 8-32x1/2" PPB screws.
Step 6. Press motor towards driven pulley and remove belt from drive pulley.
Step 7. Remove four 8-32x1/2" PPB screws from Step 5.
Step 8. Remove Pan/Tilt Motor Assembly.

Step 9. Replace pan motor assembly by performing Steps 2 through 8 in reverse.
Note:
When tightening four 8-32x1/2" PPB screws, you must tighten in a CLOCKWISE
pattern starting with screw in lower left-hand side from spring.
