Spectrum RX I Getting Started Guide
The region keys
You use the view keys in the top row to select the spectrum region
(
X
,
Y
,
Z
, or
Backg
) that you want to view.
1.
Press Backg .
The background spectrum you collected earlier is displayed.
2.
Press
Z
.
Empty axes appear, and the status line reports that the Z spectrum
region is empty.
3.
Press
Y
.
The status line reports that Y is also empty.
4.
Press
X
.
The survey spectrum of polystyrene returns.
The arrow keys
You can use the view keys in the second and third rows to move the displayed
spectrum horizontally and vertically.
1.
Press
←
once.
The spectrum moves a small step to the left.
2.
Press
←
several times in succession.
The spectrum moves several small steps to the left.
3.
Press
←
and hold it down.
The spectrum moves to the left, faster and faster.
4.
Repeat steps 1 through 3 with

5.
Repeat steps 1 through 3 with the “Horizontal Expand” key (

)
6.
Repeat steps 1 through 3 with the “Horizontal Contract” key (
