Assembly Instructions
D4 Climbing procedure
For operation of the climbing shoes,
see Section D5 “Operating the climbing
shoe” and the Instructions for Assem-
bly and Use for the climbing system.
Climbing
■
If it is not active, activate the Climb-
ing Shoe (

) on which the climbing
device is placed, see Section D5
“Operating the climbing shoe“.
■
Extend the pistons of all hydraulic
cylinders to the first climbing bolt
(
9.1
). Load is carried by the claw on
the piston (
1.1
).
Are all claws engaged on the climbing
bolts? If necessary, deactivate the oth-
er climbing shoes, see Section D5 “Op-
erating the climbing shoe”.
Always extend and retract the climbing
devices until your limit stop is reached.
Synchronisation deviations are thus cor-
rected.

Before retracting, check that all climb-
ing pawls in the climbing shoes are en-
gaged below the spacers.
Retracting the climbing device
1. Press the “Cylinder Retract” button
(

) on the remote control.

The climbing device retracts.
If multiple remote controls are connect-
ed, they must all be activated simulta-
neously, otherwise the climbing sys-
tem will not move.
