The pipe temperature sensor must be placed on
1-inch diameter pipes or larger, installed opposite
from the HWAT heating cable to accurately measure
the pipe temperature.
The temperature sensor cable is 13 ft 3 in (4 m) in
length, however the user can extend the cable up to
328 ft (100 m) by splicing a length of 300 volt, 18 AWG
(0.75 mm
2
) cable.
