Delete template

The template deletion operation is performed by pressing the relevant button, selecting
the templates stored on the PC to be deleted and pressing the  OK button. Selected
templates will be deleted from the PC disk and will no longer be usable.
It is not possible to delete the default template, called “last~template”, which will always
remain available to the operator.

Export template

The template export operation is performed by pressing the relevant button, selecting the
templates stored on the PC to be exported and pressing the OK button. A navigation
window will open, allowing the user to choose a directory on the PC or an external
medium in which the template will be stored.
To save the file on an external storage medium, such as a USB stick, it must be connected
to the PC and recognised before opening the navigation and directory selection window.
The template is saved as a text file in GPD format. The file can be copied onto removable
storage medium or sent by e-mail to be imported as a template on another Polares 32
system using the import function.
NOTE: It is recommended not to manipulate GPD files manually using a text editor as
this may render the file unreadable and therefore unusable.

Import template

The template import operation is carried out by pressing the relevant button, selecting the
GPD files stored on the PC or on an external storage device relating to previously
exported templates and are to be imported, and pressing the OK button. The template will
be copied to the PC with the same file name.
To copy the file from an external storage medium, such as a USB stick, it must be
connected to the PC and recognised before you can open the navigation and file selection
window.
