whether the number of levels actually applied, as a result of the measuring method and
the number of electrodes used, is lower than the number of levels configured by the
operator. The parameter can range from 1 to 10.
•
“Max n factor”: is the parameter that the Wenner-Schlumberger and Dipole-dipole
methods use to calculate the position of the electrodes. The parameter can range from 2
to 8.
Electrodes configuration
The second template display page shows the list of logic electrodes, the mapping between
the logic electrode and MPX/physical electrode, and the positioning in relative
coordinates of the physical electrodes. This table is automatically created by the system
on the basis of the input data from the Session parameters window, and can be modified
by the operator.
The table shows one electrode per line and consists of the following columns:
•
number of logic electrode;
•
“HW Mux”: drop-down menu containing the identifier of the physical multiplexer
associated with the logic electrode, it is set to 1/A and 1/B for the two internal Mpx in the
system, and from number 2 upwards for the external Mpx; it can be modified by the
operator;
