Table 4-25 provides an overview of the Piece Counting menu items and explains how
to use its function.

Setting Function
FixPCs1|2|3|4 [ 10|30|60|100 , nnn ]; where:
nnn Whole number between 10 and 9999
Define the fixed piece counts that can be made visible on the soft keys
(see “Soft keys” on page 4-52).
NOTE: Parata recommends that you use 100 as your sample number
because a higher sample size yields higher accuracy, when weighing
pieces that can vary slightly.
Show basic unit [ Off, On ]
Enables the display of the net weight above the piece count, in grams.
With
Show basic unit enabled, the Rotate key switches the two displays
(i.e., the net weight becomes primary and the piece count displays
above it).
CheckWeigher Defines a static piece count that you can set the scale to verify each
time you weigh pieces of a predefined weight.

* is displayed if CheckWeigher is enabled.

Statistics Enables statistical analysis of samples that you take while weighing
and defines how you will collect and output samples.

Min. sample weight Enables the minimum sample weight restrictions from the scale’s
Configuration for the Piece Counting application.

Identification Defines custom fields for the label printed when packaging items.
