14 When the drug is found (or entered), the Rx-Check application shows the current weight of
items on the scale, and the current number of pieces.
15 If multiple drugs match the scanned bar code, the scale presents a select drug screen.
Use the
and
soft keys to indicate the correct drug, and then press
Select
.
16 Add pills to the scoop on the pan.
The AccuCount II counts the number of pills in the scoop by piece weight.
WARNING!
Always follow the above steps in order to ensure that the scale starts at 0 and
that the count is accurate.
17 Repeat steps 3 through 16 for each remaining check and weigh.
Press the
Recal
soft key, if you need to recalculate the drug’s piece weight (return to step 6);
or press the
Back
soft key to exit the application.
