Screw the bar code scanner cradle into the gooseneck.
Hold the metal core of the gooseneck as you screw on the cradle, to prevent it from
spinning within the black flexible tubing.

Screw the gooseneck onto the threaded post at the back of the scale.

Position the scale on a firm, level, vibration-proof surface.
Ideally, place the scale in its permanent location: moving the scale requires re-leveling and
re-calibration. Avoid placing the scale beneath an air conditioning or heating vent, as the
forced air can affect the scale’s accuracy.
