3.3.2 Piece Counting application
Use the Piece Counting application to count items of uniform weight (e.g., pills,
vitamin capsules, screws). For this function to work properly, you must first weigh a
number of the desired items to obtain a reference weight.
To use the Piece Counting application

Select
Piece Counting
from the Applications menu.

Place the empty scoop or vial on the pan.

Press the
Tare
key.
The scale display
0.000g
once the tare is set.

Pour a sample quantity in the scoop or vial.
NOTE
Parata recommends that you use 100 as your sample number because
a higher sample size yields greater accuracy.
The display shows the weight of the pieces in grams.
