4.3.3.f Protocol
The application’s Protocol allows you to define what information is output to up to
24 positions when you press the
Print
key. Part of that information, further, can come
from Free HEX Lines that are defined only for the application in which you define
them (i.e., when you select one to be in a Protocol position, it won’t use the
Configuration Protocol’s free HEX line, but the application-specific one).
Table 4-38 provides an explanation of each Protocol function and option (default
settings are shown in
bold text
).
