3.1.17 Conference Group Call (KX-TDA50 only)
Description
Conference group calling allows you to call a pre-determined group (conference group) of parties
simultaneously. An extension user can call a conference group of up to 31 call members to make a voice
announcement. Called PTs and KX-WT125/KX-WT126 PSs will automatically answer the call using the
speakerphone. Other telephones (SLTs and other PSs) will ring when the Conference Group Call is received,
and the users of those extensions can listen to the announcement by answering the call.
Members that are listening to the announcement can enable their ability to speak by pressing any of their dial
keys. After a user has pressed a dial key, his/her voice can be heard by all participants. This is useful in an
environment such as an office or a large home. A user can make an announcement requesting assistance or
confirmation, which is heard by all called extensions. Then, any called user can press a dial key to enable their
ability to speak, and their reply is then heard by all members.
