10.1.2 Transfer via infrared
If you select
Transfer via infrared
you must use the infrared
adapter supplied with the AccuScreen PRO. Run the transfer opera-
tions from the AccuLink software.
1. Connect the infrared adapter to the serial port (COM) of the
PC.
2. When you transfer data, make sure that the distance between
the AccuScreen PRO and the infrared adapter does not exceed
approximately 80 cm (approx. 30"). The infrared-window is
located on top of the AccuScreen PRO.
3. Make sure that there are no objects obstructing the line of con-
tact between the AccuScreen PRO and the infrared adapter.
4. Activate the AccuLink program on the PC and run the transfer
operation from AccuLink.
5. When you have transferred data to AccuLink, delete the data
from the AccuScreen PRO (see section 10.2 "Delete data").
10.2 Delete data
This function deletes all test data in the AccuScreen PRO.
The AccuScreen PRO memory can store approx. 250 test results. For
memory used see
Section 11.5, ‘Memory Used” on page 79 .
If you have transferred data to AccuLink, for instance because the
AccuScreen PRO memory is running full, you may want to delete
the data in the AccuScreen PRO to prepare for new tests.
When you select the Delete data function, you are asked whether
you really want to delete all data. The cursor defaults on No .
To delete all test data, scroll to Yes and press OK .
