Test process DPOAE Diagnostic
Applies to AccuScreen PRO D, DA, TD, TDA.
1.
Do as described in
Chapter 5, “Preparing for testing” on page
2.
Select
DPOAE Diagnostic
from the
SELECT TEST
menu and
select the ear on which you wish to start the test.

Press
OK
to start the test.
Calibration
Calibration is performed before the actual test starts.
Probe fit
If the probe does not fit correctly, the screen displays the word
LEAK
. Adjust the position of the probe so that the graphical line be-
tween 1K and 2K is as horizontal as possible.
Balance test
The probe fit is followed by a balance test to make sure that the two
microphones function correctly.
The test starts automatically when calibration is completed.
The DPOAE Diagnostic test
The test as it progresses is shown on the display. See also
6.2.3, ‘DPOAE Diagnostic tests” on page 52
for monitoring the test.
Test duration
Approximately 20 seconds on patients with normal hearing.
