If the result is a PASS , a PASS message appears before the detailed
results are shown.
The following result details are shown:
Time Duration. Max. time depends on environmental
noise conditions
TEOAE Significance of TEOAE signals.
A Artifact rate
S Stimulus stability rate
The graphic display shows the peaks reaching the ±3 sigma criteri-
on. Note that the graph is a statistical graph.
If the result is a REFER , the detailed results are shown immediately
after the test.
• Add comments and view results as required. See Section 6.3,
‘After the test” on page 53 and Section 6.4, ‘Interpretation of
the results” on page 54 .
• You can now scroll to select the baby’s other ear on the screen
and, if required, reposition the baby so that you can test the
other ear.
• Before you continue testing the other ear, check to make sure
that the probe is clean. See also
Section 12.1, ‘Probe cleaning
and maintenance” on page 81 .
