Impedance testing
Before the ABR test starts, the AccuScreen PRO carries out an im-
pedance test.
White
indicates the skin impedance of the white electrode (high on the
forehead)
Red
indicates the skin impedance of the red electrode (the nape of the
neck).
Less than 6000
Ω
:
Good
6000 to 12000
Ω
:
Fair
More than 12000
Ω
:
Poor (testing is not possible,
OK
is
not available, only
STOP
can be
pressed).
"Balance"
indicates the difference in the skin impedance of the white and the
red electrode. This value should also be fairly low (> 4000
Ω
):
0 to 1999
Ω
:
Good
2000 to 3999
Ω
:
Fair
More than 4000
Ω
:
Poor (testing is not possible,
