4.5.1.2
Wiring of wire feeder
In the welding of DC low spatter, wiring of the wire feeder needs to be changed and voltage detection from the torch end
is required.
1.
Check that input power is turned off with the switch in the switch box connected to the welding power source.
2.
Remove (or open) plates in the right side and left side of the wire feeder.
3.
Remove the voltage detection cable (line No. 309) connected to the terminal block and connect the voltage
detection cable for torch side.
●
Connect the other end of the voltage detection cable for torch side to the tip of the torch.
●
Use the voltage detection cable for torch side with a blind bush.
4.
Remove the voltage detection cable (line No. 309) connected to the bracket.
5.
Restore the plates in the right side and left side of the wire feeder.
Wiring for the wire feeder is complete.
