8.3. Interlocks
The disconnector, circuit-breaker and earthing switch are
interlocked in accordance with the criteria set out in Standard
IEC 62271-200.
The disconnector actuating shafts are accessed via an
"selector switch" and the levers of both disconnectors can
only be inserted if the circuit-breaker is in open position. The
circuit-breaker can only be operated if all the disconnector
driving levers have been extracted. Moreover, all electrical
operations are overridden if any of the levers have been
inserted in the actuating shaft.
The circuit-breaker can only be connected in the end
positions (connected) of the disconnector or earthing
switch.
The cable compartment is only accessible with the earthing
switch and the circuit-breaker closed (effective earth).
