Depending on the configuration of your device the following image modalities may be available:
2.7.3.1 SLO imaging modalities
opto map
opto map is an ultra-widefield (UWF) color fundus image.
opto map combines neurosensory retinal and choroidal reflectance images and provides UWF image
views from a single capture action:

opto map color view – an UWF color fundus image combining red and green reflectance images.
l
opto map neurosensory retinal view – an UWF green laser reflectance image of the surface retina.
l
opto map choroidal view – an UWF red laser reflectance image of the deeper retina.
opto map af
opto map af is an UWF green laser auto fluorescence image.
opto map fa
opto map fa is an UWF fluorescein angiography (FA) image.
opto map icg
opto map icg is an UWF indocyanine green (ICG) angiography image.
opto map plus

opto map plus is a higher resolution option which is available for opto map color reflectance and
opto map af modalities.
l
opto map fa and opto map icg are captured at the opto map plus resolution.
l
opto map plus is captured at resolution x1.5 that of the standard resolution opto map.
2.7.3.2 OCT imaging modalities

Measurements on Optos UWF opto map and OCT images are based on scale factors
derived from the wide-angle schematic eye model published by Navarro et al

model describes a spherical 24mm representation and is embodied into the DICOM
encoding Supplement 173: Wide Field Ophthalmic Photography Image Storage SOP
Classes.
Optos OCT line scan
The scanner moves back and forth along the line of a selected location on the retina (fundus) and
generates a cross-sectional OCT image. The line scan is 48 degrees (14 mm) in length.
The Optos OCT line scan mode lets you capture cross sectional B-Scan OCT images of the vitreo-retina,
retina and choroid-retina structures.
This scan is also known as a B-scan OCT.
