Allocating an SFC Program to a Task
An SFC program inserted into a project must be allocated to a “task”, which is the unit
for execution.
A program that is yet to be allocated to a task will be shown in the project workspace
with a check mark on its program icon.
Note:
The following procedure for allocating a program to a task may be postponed until
program creation is completed. Be sure to allocate the program, however, before
transferring it to the PLC as a user program.
Use the following procedure to allocate a program to a task.
1 In the project workspace, right-click the inserted SFC program item, and then
select
Properties
from the pop-up menu.
2 On
the
General
tab of the displayed Program Properties dialog, select a task from
the
Task Type
list.
To set the program name, input the program name into the
Name
text box at this
point.
