Model 8922 POTS Card Firmware Compatibility

Do Not Install This Card Until You Have Checked
Firmware
Do not install this card into the Broadband Loop Carrier (BLC) until you have
verified that you have the proper firmware in your SCP card. To determine the
firmware level using the web interface, select
System->Firmware
. Check the
Running Firmware field.
The minimum revision of firmware required is:
z
03.03.00
for SCP cards with ATM uplinks
z
04.01.00
for SCP cards with IP uplinks
If your SCP card is at a firmware revision below the revision listed above, an
upgrade is required before you can install the 8922 POTS card. Contact your
technical support representative to obtain the latest SCP card firmware.
After downloading and switching to a valid firmware release, immediately
download at least the minimum firmware level into the alternate firmware
bank to prevent an inadvertent switch to the wrong level. Then proceed with
the installation of the line card.
