Editing the SFC Chart
Section 3-2
78
A divergence and 2 subsequent transitions will be added.
When using a divergence, add SFC elements so that each branch ends with a
transition, enabling a convergence.
Adding More Transitions
Branches can be added to a divergence.
1 Right-click an existing divergence, and select
Add Divergent Transition Branch
from the pop-up menu.
A transition is added to the divergence.
When using a divergence, add SFC elements so that each branch ends with a
transition, enabling a convergence.
Creating a Conditional Join
Add a convergence to merge conditionally branched SFC chart process flows.
In order to add a convergence, each conditionally branched process flow must have a
transition as its terminating element.
Right-click one of the conditionally branched transitions, and select
Add Convergence
from the pop-up menu.
