The overseeing time is fixed at 2.6 ms. Since there are no Link Units
mounted, the Link Unit servicing time is 0.
The Programming Console is mounted to the PC and the total cycle time of
operations 1, 2, 4, and 5 is less than 13 ms, so the peripheral device servic-
ing time is 0.8 ms.

Here, the cycle time is computed for a PC with a CPU01-E, or 03-E CPU

taining four 16-point Input Units and four 12-point Output Units. The PC con-
figuration for this could be as shown below. It is assumed that the program
contains 5,000 instructions requiring an average of 0.94
