3. The Programming Console Screen will appear.
4. Press sheet keys (touch switches) on the screen for operation.
5. Press the
Exit
Button to return to the Ladder Monitor screen.
Procedures for switching the operating mode are described next.

Mode Selection Keys, Mode Lock Key
Mode selection keys, which change the operating mode of the PLC, and a mode lock key,
which prevents unintended mode changes at the bottom of the Programming Console
screen.

Mode lock key
The RUN, MONITOR, and PROGRAM mode selection keys are touch switches.
Pressing them causes the PLC operating mode to change. Unlike an actual
Programming Console, it is possible to switch directly between RUN mode and
PROGRAM mode.
The mode lock key is also a touch switch, and it alternates between the lock ON (with no
key displayed) and lock OFF (with key displayed) states when pressed. During the lock
ON state, the mode selection keys are disabled. The mode displays change as indicated
in the figures below during the lock ON status and during the lock OFF status.
