4. Input the desired value. The input format for the Set Timer/Counter Value Dialog Box
depends on the timer/counter operating mode of the PLC (BCD or binary), and not on
the display format of the ladder monitor.)
When the timer/counter operating mode is BCD, the input format for the Set
Timer/Counter Value Dialog Box will be BCD.
When the timer/counter operating mode is binary:
•
If the set value is in hexadecimal (e.g., #100), the input format for the Set
Timer/Counter Value Dialog Box will be hexadecimal and the

to
F
Buttons will be
displayed.
•
If the set value is in decimal (e.g., &100), the input format for the Set Timer/Counter
Value Dialog Box will be decimal.
5. Press
the
Set
Button.
When a timer/counter set value is changed, the screen display will be updated to reflect
the change.
•
When the Set Value Is Specified by an Address
When the timer/counter set value is specified by an address, use the following method to
change the present value of the specified I/O.
1. Press the second operand (i.e., the timer/counter set value) of the TIM/CNT
instruction in the ladder display area to select it (i.e., to display the cursor).
2. Press
the
Change Value
Button.
(1) Select the
timer/counter
set value.
(2) Press the
Change
Button.
3.
The Change Value Dialog Box will be displayed.
