Replacing a Device
Section 3-3
IMPORTANT
When replacing a device, replace it with a device that is in the factory-default
status. The operation may not be performed correctly if a device is replaced
with a configured device.

After replacing the device, tap the
Yes
Button.
• If the Mobile Console is connected directly to a device via a USB cable,
remove the USB cable and replace the device. Connect the USB cable
to the new device and tap the
Yes
Button.
5.
Check the safety signature of the device parameters to be downloaded and
tap the
Close
Button.
The following dialog box will be displayed if the configuration is locked.

Tap the
Yes
Button.
The password input dialog box will be displayed.
7.
Enter the password of the connected device.
Downloading will begin. When it has been completed, the safety signature
read from the connected device will be displayed.
8.
Check the safety signature and tap the
Close
Button.
A dialog box asking whether to lock the device configuration will be dis-
played.
