Failure when canceling a bolus
PDM message
What to do
Communication error.
Move PDM close to Pod.
When an attempt to cancel a bolus is not
immediately successful, the PDM displays this
screen.
Move your PDM closer to your Pod.
Communication error.
Bolus status unknown.
Move to a new area
and then press "Retry,"
or press "Discard" to
deactivate pod.
If the PDM still cannot communicate with the
Pod, the PDM displays this message.
Move to a new location and press
Retry
.
If the communication error persists, press
Discard
to deactivate the Pod.
Remove your old Pod and activate a new Pod.
Communication timeout.
Bolus status unknown.
Press "Ok" to check pod
status or press "Discard"
to deactivate pod.
If you pressed
Retry
on the previous screen and
the PDM still cannot communicate with the Pod,
the PDM displays the message shown here.
Press
OK
to check the Pod status. If
communication is reestablished, see page 103.
Press
Discard
to deactivate the Pod and go to
"Failure when deactivating a Pod" on page 105.
If at any point in this process the PDM can communicate again with the Pod, it
displays a "Communication successful" message. After you press
OK
, the PDM
tells you how much of the bolus was delivered before it was canceled.
Warning:
If your PDM is damaged or not working as expected, call
Customer Care for assistance. Be sure to check your blood glucose frequently.
Remove your Pod and contact your healthcare provider for treatment
guidelines.
