The advanced searching window containing a diffractogram appears.

In the diffractogram, click within the (blue) background subtraction area to
decrease the amount of background subtraction (see Figure C-6 on page 84).
The purpose of decreasing or increasing the amount of background subtraction is
to eliminate as much noise as possible while preserving as many peaks as
possible.
