3. Set Up and Operation
This chapter provides information for turning on and off the BTX III XRD analyzer
and preparing and testing samples.
3.1
Connecting AC Power to the BTX III
The BTX III analyzer receives AC power through the External Power connector.
To connect AC power
If an unauthorized power supply cord is used to power the instrument, Olympus
cannot guarantee the electrical safety of the equipment.
1.
Hold the power supply output plug in the orientation shown, and then insert it
into the rear panel Power connector (see Figure 3-1 on page 36).
