Fast Ethernet Port Configuration
The Fast Ethernet ports are 21, 22, 25, and 26. For these ports you will see the
following screen, TS Port Configuration:
Name
This field is for assigning a name to the port.
Enabled
For the Fast Ethernet ports 21, 22, 25, and 26, this variable sets the administrative
state of the port, possible values are Yes and No. When the port is disabled, the
LINK LED will blink.
Default: Yes.
Status
This field is for informational purposes only, and shows if the port is currently
inserted into the ring. The value displayed can be one of the following:
•
Down The port is down.
•
Going Up The port is enabled and the auto-negotiation is trying to
establish a protocol connection.
•
Up The port is up.
