Protocol Filters...
Displays the Protocol Filters menu.
Configure Filters Screen
To open this screen from the main menu, select Configuration
→
Filters & Port
Security. Then select Configure Filters....
When you select Add Entry on this screen, a list is displayed of the available filter
functions with a selectable highlight. After a choice is made, the console prompts
you for the necessary parameters.
Index
The number index.
MAC Address
MAC address contained in packets to be filtered. See a detailed description of MAC
addresses on page 46.
Type
Possible types are listed below:
•
Block any packet with Source Address—Block Src
— That is, any packet from that specific address is blocked from entering the
specified port(s).
•
Block any packet with Destination Address—Block Dest
