Table 7.4.1 MAC PIB Attribute (3)
Identifier Attribute Range
Description
Default
0x52
macRxOnWhenIdle
0 or 1
This indicates if MAC will enable the receiver
during an idle period.
If '1' is set in an MLME-SET.REQUEST, the
receiver becomes RX_ON.
0
0x53 macShortAddress
0x0000-
0xFFFF
This is a 16-bit short address that the device uses
for PAN communication.
For a PAN coordinator, this value must be
specified before PAN starts.
For a device, an address allocated by the
coordinator at the time of associating will be
saved.
0xFFFE indicates that although the device is
associated, a short address has not been
allocated.
0xFFFF indicates that the coordinator has
rejected entry to PAN.
0xFFFF
0x54
macSuperframeOrder
0-15
This indicates an active period for a super frame
containing a beacon frame.
MacSuperframeOrder: SO and duration of a
super frame: SD is related as follows:
When 0
≤
SO
≤
BO
≤
14,
SD = aBaseSuperframeDuration* 2SO Symbol
When SO = 15, a super frame will not be
configured.
* 1 symbol = 16 us
15
0x55 macTransactionPersistence-Ti
me
0x0000-
0xFFFF
Duration of time that the data indirectly
transmitted by the coordinator is kept.
Data retention time =
SD
×
TransactionPersistenceTime
0x01F4
Original PIB Attributes
0x6F
aExtendedAddress
—
An IEEE64 bit address allocated to the device.
—
0x80
PowerSaveMode
0-3
This attributes enables / disables the
power-saving function.
0: Enabled (default power-saving function)
1: Suspend (expanded power-saving function)
2: Sleep (expanded power-saving function)
3: Disabled
0
0x81
NonBeacon-Indirect-BO
0-14
A beacon order used by PAN without a beacon.
When the coordinator that has started PAN
without a beacon indirectly transmits data, this BO
value will calculate the data retention period.
5
0x82
MAC Version
—
This attribute displays the MAC version.
